At 8am Lanah heads out for her morning jog going north. Ten minutes later, Jasmine heads our for her jog, also going north. ( assume they both started at the same spot). Lanaahs joggins speed is 25 ft/ minute more than jasmines . At 8:30 am,Lannah is 3500ft ahead of Jasmin. What is the jogging speed of each person?

let Jasmine's speed be x ft/m
then Lanah's speed is x+25 ft/min
time of Lanna's run = 30 min
time of Jasmine's run = 20 min
distance of Jasmine's run = 20x ft
distance of Lanah's run = 30(x+25)
clearly at that moment, Lanah is 3500 ft ahead
that is,
30(x+25) - 20x = 3500
30x + 750 - 20x = 3500
10x = 2750
x = 275
etc
