Three of those are valued in most societies. Only one of those choices is a right and a privilege in a democracy.

I would focus on d.
democratic values: liberty, equality, the right of those being governed to determine their government.

I am not so certain a, b, c are democratic values, one could do a,b,c in a very authoritarian monarchy.
