Use the search box (at the left) and search for new england and/or northeast states or other search terms as you think of them, perhaps state by state.

That's partly it, yes. Here's a good collection of definitions of "economy" from www.answers.com:
"An economy is the system of human activities related to the production, distribution, exchange, and consumption of goods and services of a country or other area.
"The composition of a given economy is inseparable from technological evolution, civilization's history and social organization, as well as from Earth's geography and ecology, e.g. ecoregions which represent different agricultural and resource extraction opportunities, among other factors.
"Economy refers also to the measure of how a country or region is progressing in terms of product."
You should go to http://www.fedstats.gov and to Google's advanced search to look for information on this topic.

Ok, thank you :) This is very helpful. I was also wondering, and this is my last question I promise, the history started by English people moving to New England, they got into conflicts between the Native Americans, but then made peace. After that, what happens?

European immigrants kept coming and expanding the amount of space they consumed. They kept moving west.
Here is an account of just one county in Pennsylvania:

You can search for similar information in general or by state or even by county. The overall effect is our country as you see it today.
What happened to the Native Americans as Europeans moved west? That depends on which NA nation you're referring to. You might conduct searches including various NA nations' names: Iriquois, Lakota, and many others.
