To make green paint, Jeff's art teacher instructed him to mix blue and yellow paint. To make the desired shade of green, the ratio of blue paint to yellow paint is 3:4. What the does the ratio 3:4 mean?

No. The total is 7, not 4

Pardon me. I believe I got the wrong answer I believe the answer would be C because they say in the word problem the ratio of blue paint to yellow paint.

its say in the question the ratio ratio of blue paint to yellow paint, so there are 3 blue parts for 4 yellows parts.
