What would be a good report for a second grader to do, on a person, someone famous, sports person, etc. the kids have to dress the part and give a short report. My 8 year old wants to do David Beckham, is that okay for should we do someone REALLY famous?
David Beckham is REALLY famous over here! :D :D
That's cute, he should!
I think David Beckham would be a great subject for a second-grade report. You want him to be really interested in what he's studying. He'll learn about researching and writing as well from a sports hero as a "really" famous person.
Here's a web site about Beckham.

In addition to dressing up as a soccer player , he could bring a ball to class, and even do a demonstration on how to head a ball as part of his report. I think it is a great idea....
