I got 146.6 but that wouldn't be it right, because it has to be a whole number so 147?

No.If that is 146.627 FEET (you don't have the unit) then 147 is rounded to the nearest foot. To the nearest 0.1 foot it must be 146.6 feet. Why must it be a whole number?
