Three linear equations are given below. The first is in slope intercept form, the 2nd is in point-slope form and the 3rd is in standard form. Each equation has a slope. What is the sum of the three slopes.
1.y = -2x + 5
2.y + 7 = 6(x − 3)
3.4x − y = 9
1 is -2
2 is 6
3 is -4
So the sum of all is 0?
1.y = -2x + 5
2.y + 7 = 6(x − 3)
3.4x − y = 9
1 is -2
2 is 6
3 is -4
So the sum of all is 0?

No, one of your slopes is incorrect
#3:
4x - y = 9 --> 4x - 9 = y , so the slope is 4
sum of slopes = -2 + 6 + 4 = 8
#3:
4x - y = 9 --> 4x - 9 = y , so the slope is 4
sum of slopes = -2 + 6 + 4 = 8
