1, In one school, 5/6 of the 6th graders take a foreign language. of these students, 2/5 take French.

a. What fraction of the 6th graders take French? 5/6 x 2/6= 1/3

b. If there are 150 6th graders,how many take French? 150/1 x 1/3 =5/3 ?

1/3 * 150 = 50 take French.
