A pie chart is drawn to represent the numbers x, x+2 and 8. If the angle at the centre of the sector representing x+2 is 120 degrees, find the value of x.

since 120° is 1/3 of a circle, the other two values must add up to 2/3, or twice the 120° value:

x+8 = 2(x+2)
