How would I solve x2+3x+1/4 into standard form?
Would I multiply everything by 4 to cancel out the 1/4 so it will cancel it. Giving me 4x2+12+1 then factoring out

We "solve" equations, but you don't have an equation.
I will assume you have:
x^2 + 3x + 1/4 = 0
yes, I would also multiply by 4 to get
4x^2 + 12x + 1 = 0
Unfortunately , it does not factor, so you will have to use the quadratic formula to solve it,
or you can also solve it by completing the square.
