We can define the cost of an oil change as x.
So, we have 8x.
There is also the added cost of $24 for each van's wipers.
This gives us 8x+24(8)=432 for the total cost.
Using the distributive property, this becomes 8x+192=432.
Afterwards, subtract 192.
8x=240
Divide by 8:
x=30
Each oil change therefore costed $30.
So, we have 8x.
There is also the added cost of $24 for each van's wipers.
This gives us 8x+24(8)=432 for the total cost.
Using the distributive property, this becomes 8x+192=432.
Afterwards, subtract 192.
8x=240
Divide by 8:
x=30
Each oil change therefore costed $30.
