The length of a rectangle is 5 cm more than twice its width. This is shown in the diagram below.

If the perimeter of the rectangle is 232 cm, how long is the length of the rectangle, in centimeters?

width--- x
length --- 2x + 5

solve for x and sub into my definitions:

2x + 2(2x+5) = 232
