How many centimeters would represent 40 kilometers if you were using a scale of 1 cm = 1 m?

1 cm = 1 m
40 km = X
x = 1 x 40
x = 40 cm

1cm/1m = x cm / 40000m

I suspect you meant 1cm = 1km
