total value of his property ---- 60,000,000
wife's share = (1/5)(60,000,000) = 12,000,000
son & daughters share = 30,000,000
son's share --- 2x
daughter's share --- x
2x + x = 30,000,000
x = 10,000,000
So the son gets 20,000,000 and the daughter gets 10,000,000
leaving 60 - 12 -30 million, or
18,000,000 for the grandson and granddaughter to split in the ratio of 3 : 2
so grandson gets 3/5 of 18000000 or 10,800,000
and the granddaughter gets 2/5 of 18,000,000
or 7,200,000
wife --- 12,000,000
son ----20,000,000
daughter - 10,000,000
grandson - 10,800,000
granddaughter -- 7,200,000
check for the total and the two ratios.
