How does H20 become the Product? Is it a special rule or something?
MG(OH)2 + HCl = MGCl2 + H2O

Thanks.

This is a double displacement (or double replacement) reaction. The Mg combines with the Cl to make MgCl2; the OH combines with the H to make H2O.
