A body is partially submerged in a liquid. How to find the value of v/V where V=volume of the solid and v=volume of the submerged part ?

let the density of the body be D.
mass=D*(v+V)
bouyancey=mass object
densitywater*V=D(v+V)
V=D(v+V) divide both sides by V
1=D(v/V+1)
v/V=(1-D)/D
mass=D*(v+V)
bouyancey=mass object
densitywater*V=D(v+V)
V=D(v+V) divide both sides by V
1=D(v/V+1)
v/V=(1-D)/D
