3 g^-2 b^2

g^-2 = 1/g^2
so, the expressions is the same as
3b^2/g^2

1/g^-2 = 1/(1/g^2)) = g^2

Now we get into murky waters:
(3/g^-2)h^3 = 3g^2h^3 -- not a choice
3/(g^-2h^3) = 3g^2/h^3

because that is the same as

3 * 1/g^-2 * 1/h^3 = 3g^2/h^3

don't be afraid to use parentheses online, where text formatting is usually rudimentary
