Expanding: a predicate is what is being acted upon. The subject is what is acting.

Action: parked

Mom (the subject) parked (is acting upon) the car (what is acted upon)
Anonymous is correct. The word "predicate" means about the same thing as the word "verb."

Mom parked the car.

"Mom" = the simple subject.

"parked" = the verb or the simple predicate

"parked the car" = the complete predicate (the verb and everything that goes with it)
