Angle 1 and angle 2 are supplementary angles.
m∠1 = 4x+3
m∠2 = 3x−5
What is the value of x?

just recall that supplementary angles add to 180, so
4x+3 + 3x-5 = 180
Now just solve that for x.

4x+3 + 3x-5 = 180
Now just solve that for x.
