                Consider the equation log(b,a^2)=c
a) What are all possible values of a? Explain.
b) What are all possible values of c? Explain.
c) If −1 ≤ a ≤ 1 and b > 1 what can you conclude about all possible value of c? Explain.
Hi,
I don't even understand what this review question is asking or what it is looking for

Maybe it means log base b of a^2=c
That means
2 logb (a) = c
or
logb(a) = c/2
which means
b^(c/2) = a
can you take the log of a negative number?
