Their share of the profit should be proportional to the amount of their investment
Total investment = 13000
Alex's share is 8000/13000 = 8/13
Ali's share is 5/13
So 5/8 = 2000/x , assuming Ali and Ally are the same person
5x = 16000
x = 3200
check:
2000 : 3200
= 5 : 8
Total investment = 13000
Alex's share is 8000/13000 = 8/13
Ali's share is 5/13
So 5/8 = 2000/x , assuming Ali and Ally are the same person
5x = 16000
x = 3200
check:
2000 : 3200
= 5 : 8
