Saleem salary is Rs 12000.he gave 1/12 th of his salary as alms, half of the remaining that was debt upon him.What is the remaining salary with him?

12,000 - (1/12)*12,000 = 12,000 - 1,000 = $11,000.

11,000 - (1/2)*11,000 = 11,000 - 5,500 = $5,500 = Remaining salary.

12000×1/2=1000 for alms
12000-1000=11000
Half of remaining for house expenses
So 11000/2=5500
2/5 of 11000 for debt
Which is 2200
Now find remaining salary
So 5500-2200=3300
The answer is 3300
