    What you want to do is cross multiply
since 2/3 = 6/x, when you cross multiply, you get 2x=18 x=9
2:4 = 1:2 so you can just double 6
or
2/4 = 6/x 2x=24 x=12
Therefore the perimeter of the triangle is 6+9+12

    let the sides be 2x, 3x, and 4x
perimeter = 9x
given: 2x = 6
so, x = 3
perimeter = 9x = 9(3) = 27
