heat to heat ice from -2 to 0 (use specific heat of ice)
heat to melt 175 g ice at 0C
heat to heat water from 0C to 2C
then you are done.
How much heat is required to convert 175 g of ice at -2°C to water at 2°C?
I have no idea how to solve this. Nothing I've found in the book or on-line is helping. Can someone point me to how to solve?

thanks, still getting the wrong answer.
Post your work, I suspect you have a unit issue. Are you supposed to be in calories or Joules it the first question you should be asking for the heat of fusion, and the specific heats of ice, and specific heats of water.

175 x .5 x 2

I know this is incorrect, but I can't figure out what is supposed to be multiplied.

on the last line, you have mass in grams, temperature change 2C, but where did you get 79.5 calories/gC for specific heat of water? the specific heat of water is 1calorie/gC
