the digit at the tens place of a two digit number is four times that in the units place if the digits are reversed he new number will be 54 less than the orginal number. find the orginal number

unit digit --- x
tens digit -- 4x

the number is 10(4x) + x
or 41x

the number reversed is 10x + 4x
or 14x

41x - 14x = 54
27x = 54
x = 2

the original number is 82

check:
82-28 = 54 , all is good.
