This is a system of equations
divide by 3 on the first to get
y=10/3-5/3 then put that in for y on the other equation to get x, and you have solved the system of equations x=(whatever) and y=(whatever).

You have a typo in the first equation, no x term
re-write the second one as
2 x - 1 = 3 y
then you have whatever your first equation was supposed to be = 2 x - 1
since they are both equal to 3y
solve for x
then go back and get y
