Im begging! please someone teach me how to answer this!
when 3 times a number is added to the square of a number the result is ten find the number.

I don't know where to start but please teach me or tell me the process to answer this,even just a process. I can answer this if you tell me:)

Assuming the number is the same for multiple and square root:

3x + √x = 10

Solve for x.

I read square root.

x^2 + 3x = 10

x^2 + 3x - 10 = 0

Factor.
