what education is needed to be an art teacher?

Ex: art history, extra (sorry I don't know anymore than art history)

If you want to teach in a public school, you also need to earn a Bachelors of Education degree.

Or, a degree in Art or a degree in most anything, with a minor in Art, and a minor in Education with enough hours to meet the state minimum requirement...that varies by state. Some states offer a few other alternative paths.
