What is the formula to calculate the height of fluid in cylinder if the volume of fluid is known, and the length and diameter of cylinder is known?

volume = area of base * height
V = pi r^2 h
but r = D/2
V = pi (D^2/4) h = (pi/4) D^2 h
V = pi r^2 h
but r = D/2

actually there is another issue i don't have angle to find out volume of fluid, now i have height,weight,diamter of cylinder and need to find height of fluid?
