m = -14 -.4 divided by -5 -4
-14/4/-9 14.4/9 = m
y+14 = (14.4/9)(x+5)
the equation will be in y=mx + b form and you can change it to Ax+By =C
Answered by
Reiny
slope = (.4 + 14)/(4+5)
= 14.4/9 = 144/90 = 8/5
so using (-5,-14)
y+14 = (8/5)(x+5)
5y + 70 = 8x + 40
8x - 5y = 30
