A rectangular patio has a length of f(x)=4x-3 and a width of g(x)=x-4. If the patio's perimeter was 84 feet, what would the value of x be? Please explain!!

length = 4x-3
Width = x-4

2W + 2L = perimeter
2(4x-3) + 2(x-4) = 84
8x - 6 + 2x - 8 = 84
10x = 98
x = 9.8
