By selling a clock for rs 600 a man loses 25%. what should be the selling price for a profit of 25%.

if selling at 600 is a loss of 25%, the cost was
.75x = 600
x = 800

so make a profit of 25% on the 800 , he should have sold at
800(1.25) = 1000
