I'm confused about this question: "A car traveling at 60 mi/h stops in 6 seconds. How far does it travel during this time?" I can't figure out what formula to use, or how to begin solving this.

its average speed while stopping is 30 mi/h

there are 3600 sec in an hr , and 5280 ft in a mi

d = 30 * 5280 * 6 / 3600 ... feet
