In a standard deck of 52 cards
whats the probability of getting a 2 or a 7 of diamonds.

assuming the 2 can be of any suit

prob(your event) = (4 + 1)/52
= 5/52

if both the 2 and the 7 have to be diamonds, then
prob = 2/52
