slope of AB = (4+8)/(-9+7) = 12/-2 = -6
so the slope of the perpendicular = 1/6
midpoint of AB = (-8,-2)
equation of our line:
y + 2 = (1/6)(x+8)
6y + 12 = x+8
x - 6y = 4
so the slope of the perpendicular = 1/6
midpoint of AB = (-8,-2)
equation of our line:
y + 2 = (1/6)(x+8)
6y + 12 = x+8
x - 6y = 4
