A large salt crystal having a volume of 56 cm3 and a density of 2.17 g/cm3 was dissolved in to sufficient water to make 375 mL of solution. What is the salt concentration in the solution as g/L?

mass=density*volume, solve for mass.
then,
concentration=mass/.375
