WhT is there relationship between the lines having the equations y=4x+2 and y=1/4x?
Is it because they are neither parallel nor perpendicular?

parallel means they have the same gradient. 4 does not equal 1/4, so it isn't parallel.
perpendicular means the two gradients multiplied must equal -1. 4*1/4=1 so it isn't perpendicular.
these two points have a point of intersection, meaning the lines touch each other at a point.
u can find this out by making them equal to each other. 4x+2=1/4x to find the x point. then sub the x point, to find the y point.
