3x-7y=-10
5x-y=-6 ---> y = 5x+6
sub that into the first
3x - 7(5x+6) = -10
3x - 35x - 42 = -10
-32x = 32
x = -1
then y = 5(-1)+6 = 1
the ordered pair (-1,1) is the solution
do the same thing for the second problem
5x-y=-6 ---> y = 5x+6
sub that into the first
3x - 7(5x+6) = -10
3x - 35x - 42 = -10
-32x = 32
