Monday 1/3 read means 2/3 unread

Tuesday reads 3/10 of 2/3

He has 1/5 of the book left = 35

multiply 5 times 35 to get your answer.

oops - 3/10 of 2/3 = 2/10 = 1/5
1/3 + 1/5 = 8/15
so, 7/15 x = 35
x = 75

check:
on Monday read 1/3, or 25 pages, leaving 50 unread
On Tuesday read 3/10 of 50 = 15 pages, leaving 35 unread
