L=15,B=9(Rectangle), sqrs in rectangle=let x be number of sqrs in rectangle, and L be length of sides:15*9=x*(L*L)

divide both sides by x= 15*9/x=L*L,square root both sides, then cross-multiply rootx and equate 3*root15=L*rootx

x=15,L=3,in each sqrs we have 9foot sqrs,0.5 ounce per foot sqr=0.5*9=4.5,there are 15 sqrs, ounce of paint=4.5*15=67.5
