Yeah, so the answer is 2/3 (simplified), or 8/12 if it does not matter. 8 is the distance that goes up(rise) and 12 is the distance that you go vertically(run). Just remember this: you have to rise before you can run. That is a way to calculate slope, also which is basically what you are trying to find in this problem.

Its 2/3 because if you do rise/run it is 8/12. 8/12 is equivelent to 2/3
