If d represents the measure of an acute angle,write an inequality to show the range of degrees.
AT first I thought it was: d is less than 90 degrees, which is less than 180 degrees, but it was obviously wrong as explained by my teacher,

I would have it as

90° < d < 180°

think of it as: d is between 90 and 180

that is an obtuse angle. I'd say

0° < d < 90°

looks like I had another "old-timer's " moment.
An acute angle measures more than 0° and less 90°
An obtuse angle measures more than 90° and less than 180°
A right angle measure exactly 90°
And a straight angle measures exactly 180°
So for an acute angle it'll be 0°<d<90° because the possible values of d are more than 0° and less than 90° because it's in the degree from of an acute angle.
