nope. Subtract the exponents.
10^7/10^3 = (10^3 * 10^4)/10^3 = 10^4
or, more brute-force,
10*10*10*10*10*10*10
-------------------------- = 10*10*10*10
10*10*10
10^7/10^3 = (10^3 * 10^4)/10^3 = 10^4
or, more brute-force,
10*10*10*10*10*10*10
-------------------------- = 10*10*10*10
10*10*10
