Dana has carpet squares that are 1/2 yards wide. She has a hallway that is 4 1/2 yards by 3 yards that she needs to cover. How many carpet squares does Dana need?

4 1/2 / 1/2 = 9
3/(1/2) = 6

A = 6 * 9
