on a 1-8 numbered spinner, how do I find an even number or a number greater than 6?

To find it, just look at it.
If you are asking for probabilities:
even number = 1/2
>6 = 7 or 8, each = 1/8
Either-or probabilities are found by adding the individual probabilities.
