Susan Received a 60% on her final paper worth 25%. This was Susan's last assignment before final grades are handed out. If Susan had a 75% average prior to the paper, what will her mark be now after receiving the 60% on the paper?

If the 60% is worth 25% of her mark that is worth 1/4 of her mark. The 75% previous average is worth 3/4 of her mark. That means we can add 60 + 75 + 75 + 75. If we total those marks we get 285. Then we divide by the number of marks (4). So 285/4=71.25%
