what is the value of -3/4-(3/-8)

(the 3/4 fraction only has the - on the 3, not the entire fraction)
a -1 1/8
B -3/8
C3/8
D 1 1/8

What I did is first find a common denominator making the equation
-6/8-(3/-8)= -9/16
this is not one of the choices
Can you please help.
