5/8 votes are blue and 5/9 are green and the remaining 48 votes are red. How many are blue and how Many are green?

let the total be x
blues = (5/8)x
greens = (5/9)x

but 5/8 + 5/9 = 85/72 which is > 1
not possible, so far we would have 85/72 of x

check the wording
Did it say: 5/9 of the remaining are green ?
