I have a research article about the early advancement of laying times for Flycatchers, a bird species through Europe and Asia.
My variables are:
- Annual temperature recordings in each study site
- The species, flycatcher
- Clutch size of the flycatchers
- The location of each study site
Which ones are the dependent variables? Which ones are the independent variables? I'm sure the species is the only controlled variable of them all.
Thanks!

independent: location, temp recordings
dependent: clutch size if it is related to calendar. You are supposed to be looking at laying times.
