A machine has an overcome of 60percent.If the machine is required to overcome a load of 30N with a force 20N.calculate it velocity ratio?

What do you mean it has and "overcome"?
efficiency maybe ?
if it were perfect then
V2/V1 = F1/F2
= 3/2 = 1.5
but if efficiency is only .6
then we really must lift 30/.6 = 50 N with 20 N
so we need a ratio of 5/2 = 2.5
